It must be nice to live in such a fictional world where everything and everyone is just so perfect.

- everyone is beautiful inside and out
- they're all filthy rich; money is never an issue
- the kids are all perfect
- Morgan (female protagonist), is loved by every friend and family member of Ryan's (male protagonist)
- Morgan's parents are delighted and supportive when she tells them she's pregnant and will raise her children on her own. We should all be so lucky to have such wonderful parents
- all the blended children love each other; no problems whatsoever when they find out they have new sisters and brothers, and a brand new mom. It's all smooth sailing
- Ryan discovers his friend and ex-co-worker lives right beside Morgan, the love of his life he just found after four years
- all is quickly forgiven, and lucky Ryan gets to lay beside Morgan the first night

I'd also like to mention that there were several other ways that Ryan could have located Morgan. With all his smarts and money it's surprising Ryan just didn't hire a private investigator. The guy is a cop after all. Oh, speaking of smart, I guess neither of them thought to use a condom when they slept together (cue eye-rolls). I also have an issue with respect to the stunt that both respective parents, along with other family members, pulled trying to get Morgan and Ryan together. The fact that they all kept it a secret for two years is beyond ridiculous. Since this is a perfect world the live in, neither of them were upset. It's only two years they missed being together; and two years of the boys' lives that Ryan missed. But hey, maybe it's just me.

In the end, none of it worked for me.

"Second Chance at Forever" by Heather Lire was a beautiful told story about family and the romance of Morgan and Ryan. Who ever thought that this triple would met this twin? Well they meet and I enjoyed how this author got them together for a week ...with Morgan doing her thing...reading while Ryan watched and liked what he saw only to start meeting in such a sweet way. Who knew that they would fall in love after only one week and then Ryan disappears and it was then that Morgan knew they didn't have each others contact information? Ryan didn't even know her correct last name. However, that wasn't the end of this story because from their one time together Morgan becomes pregnant with twins. So, this is where this journey of "Second Chance at Forever" continues on one adventurous ride that this author takes the reader on. Just seeing our these two families came together to help in the situation was simply beautiful. Will Morgan and Ryan be able to get back together? Now, to fully understand this amazing novel you must pick up "Holiday, Vermont Book One Second Chance At Forever" to see how this will all come out. The characters are all truly well developed, colorful only giving you a amazing well written story. You will find yourself smiling at so much of the happiness of these two families throughout the read. So, if you are looking for a wonderful contemporary romance, you have come to the right place and I would definitely recommend this read to you.
When simple, focused, not looking for love Morgan is followed around by a undeniably handsome young man at a weekend house party her whole life is suddenly turned upside down. The more time the two strangers spend together, the more they fall in love and readers can't help but fall in love right along with them. Simply written, easy to connect with characters and heartwarming in story this is not a book I expected to enjoy as much as I did.

This book is written with realistic, adorable characters (especially in the guy department), real life situations that any mom, dad, or friend can connect to and has a central running theme of family and the importance of looking after one another. The romance is real, simply written without distraction and can't help but provoke contented sighs from any romantic minded reader. There are elements of mystery as the characters search to find one another's identities, elements of surprise and pasts are revealed and of love as a family is stitched together.

I find this is a great book for anyone looking for a fast paced, easy to connect to, chick-flick of a love story.

Can love survive 4 years of hurt and misunderstandings? This wonderfully crafted story shows us what can happen if we allow our hearts to be open. A wonderful debut novel that I highly recommend.
Heather is a new author, did a great job on her debut book. The book is exactly what the title says....."Second Chance at Forever" I loved reading about how Morgan and Ryan first meet and how they came back into each other's lives again. A true love story. I can't wait to ready book #2. Keep up the good work Heather!!!
